Senior Business Development Manager

We have been engaged by a client of ours, a top tier AmLaw firm, which is seeking a Client Development Manager to support the firm's Corporate Practic group. Working with the Director of Client Development, this is a senior level manager position and will be responsible, in a macro sense, for client & business development, research and executing relevant special events.  The Client Development Manager will supervise a Client Development Coordinator.   Specific responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing client development projects
  • Utilize research to identify cross selling opportunities as well as new clients
  • Develop client presentation and pitches
  • Update web and print marketing collateral
  • Assist with lateral onboarding
  • Analyze research to develop pitches and proposals
  • Execute client facing events
  • Build profiles for practice group and individual attorneys via articles, social media, etc.
  • Provide mentoring to junior level marketing staff

Qualified individuals will have 10+ years of legal marketing experience in a manager level position.  A BA or BS is required, advanced degree(s) would be a plus.  Staff management experience preferred.
